Online platforms and tools

WordPress – This is the blogging platform I have used since almost the very beginning. I have played around with Squarespace, and came right back to WordPress.

Webhostingpad – My site is hosted with Webhostingpad, and has been for about 10 years. Their support team has taken very good care of me. As my traffic has grown recently, they have been very quick to respond and fix problems.

Getresponse – This is my email newsletter service. They have an easy to use platform and competitive rates. Use my link and get a $30 credit.

Tailwindapp – I use Tailwind to schedule my pins on Pinterest. It’s easy to use, and you can also schedule pins to Tailwind right on Pinterest using their browser extension.

Amazon Web Services – S3 – All my digital products are hosted at Amazon S3. I pay pennies per month, and, with a WordPress plugin, all my digital products are seamless with my checkout process.

Woocommerce – I have used several shopping cart services, and this is the one I settled on. It matches the look of my site, and provides tons of options to get the shopping experience you want.

Thinkific – This site is a platform that enables you to host courses and membership sites.

Quickbooks – I use Quickbooks to track all my business finances. I highly recommend that you carefully track your business finances, not only for tax purposes, but to have an accurate view of how your business is doing at any given time. I am a certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor and am available for consultations if you need help with Quickbooks.

Home publishing tools

Canon megatank printer – Since I provide physical printed products, my printers are indispensable. This is my newest addition, and I absolutely love it! The ink is very affordable, while also providing a beautiful finished print quality.

Brother MFC-J5830DW – This printer has been a workhorse for me for years. It is no longer my main printer, but it still works hard for me. It’s more expensive, inkwise.

Courses and books

Courtney Foster-Donahue – Pocket Products course – This course was worth every penny to help me create my first digital course.

Pinterest with Ell course – This course helped me get a good handle on Pinterest, and at least doubled my traffic.

Ruth Soukup book – How to blog for profit without selling your soul

Desktop software

Affinity publisher – This software program is what I use to design all my planners and books.

PDF element 6 – I use this program to create, combine, and edit PDFs.
