Learning to ask for help and advice

After praying and seeking God’s direction, Nehemiah still didn’t know exactly what to do. Then an unexpected opportunity appeared. When the king noticed Nehemiah’s sadness, he asked a simple question: “What are you requesting?”

Nehemiah prayed, asked for help, and received everything he needed to begin rebuilding Jerusalem.

As women, we often try to carry every responsibility ourselves. We tell ourselves we should be able to figure it out alone. But sometimes the next faithful step is humbly asking for help.

In this episode, we’ll look at Nehemiah’s example and talk about why inviting a trusted person into your struggles can bring clarity and momentum. I’ll also share how one conversation with my husband completely changed the way I managed our home—and how a simple meal plan became the first domino in creating lasting rhythms for our family.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed and aren’t sure where to begin, this episode will encourage you to stop striving alone and take the next step in faith.
