Prayer doesn’t begin with asking.
It begins with remembering who Yah is.
In this first video of the series Learning to Pray, One Blessing at a Time, we begin where prayer has always begun: with relationship.
This blessing teaches us to come before Yah as the faithful God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob — the God who keeps covenant from generation to generation. Before we bring needs, worries, or requests, we pause to remember who we are standing before.
In this video, we will:
- look at the heart of the first blessing
- read the Scripture passages that support it
- and gently practice beginning prayer through remembrance
This series is not about praying perfectly or finding the right words. It’s about learning how Scripture shapes our approach to prayer, one blessing at a time.
