Hebrew Flashcards is a set of 176 picture flashcards of everyday Hebrew words. On the front of the laminated cards, you will see a photo and a small English word. On the back, you will find the Hebrew word, along with the English pronunciation. The whole set is laminated with sturdy 5-mil plastic and packaged in a zip bag for storage.
I have been working with Hebrew since we began our Torah journey. As we learned to value the Old Testament, it only made sense to learn the language it was originally written in. From experience, I have learned that replacement is a great way to learn a language. When you can look at an egg and think ‘betza,’ you have the beginning of fluency. That’s what Hebrew Flashcards are designed to do.
If you and your family are looking to learn Hebrew together, then Hebrew Flashcards should be your first stop. They are versatile and durable to allow you to use them in different ways.
- Hold up cards at the dinner table.
- Quiz each other during school.
- Attach the cards to objects around the house.
Before you know it, you will be able to identify objects, animals, food, and simple actions in both English and Hebrew.
Unlike books and courses, Hebrew Flashcards make everyday Hebrew accessible to even your youngest children. It’s even a great tool for grandparents who want to learn, too! Just ask my mother-in-law. 😉
When you order the Hebrew Flashcards, you will also receive a dry erase Hebrew letter seek-and-find page as a special thank-you gift from me. It will help you and your children to practice your Hebrew letters as you learn to speak words.
You can also choose to upgrade your order to include the Psalm 119 copywork book, which also teaches all 176 Hebrew words while teaching Hebrew writing. It walks you through all 176 verses of Psalm 119, which is 8 verses for each letter of the Hebrew alphabet.
Just add to cart, and I will ship the set right to you. If you also order the workbook, it will be shipped directly from the publisher in a separate box.
Are you ready to get much more comfortable with your Hebrew? Now’s your chance!
