Scriptures about covenant to write and study

This month I keep circling back to one word: covenant. Maybe it’s because my daughter is getting married this Sunday, and I’ve watched her prepare her heart the way Ruth once did — choosing loyalty, choosing “your people will be my people.” Or maybe it’s because the longer I walk with Yah, the more I see that covenant isn’t a dusty old formality — it’s the thread running through the whole story, from the garden to the rainbow to the blood on the doorposts to the cup Yeshua lifted at that Passover table. Covenant is how the Creator loves: on purpose, in writing, and forever.

So this August, we’re tracing that thread together — thirty days moving through God’s covenants with Noah, Abraham, and Israel, into the Renewed Covenant sealed in Messiah, and landing in the everyday covenant of marriage. Grab your journal (or just your Bible and a cup of coffee) and work through a few verses each morning. You don’t need commentary from me — just space to sit with His Word and let it settle in your own home. And if you think of my daughter as you read the marriage passages toward the end of the month, I’d love that.
